County title joy for Sheringham girls
Sheringham Primary School girls’ U11 football team members are celebrating, after bagging the Norfolk County Champions title for the second year running.
After winning the north Norfolk championship, they came up against other regional winners at the county finals, held at Stalham earlier this month.
The girls’ success means they will travelling to London next month to represent Norfolk in the national regional finals.
Coaches Matt Groves and Fiona Oldershaw praised the team for their competitive spirit and determination.
“We are both so proud of the girls, they played really well and are now looking forward to representing their county in London,” Groves said.
