In the Junior County Cup, Downham Old Boys entertained Venture Albion and got a good win by four goals to two with goals for Downham Old Boys from Ash Legge and Andy Summers with a brace each and another home draw against Winfarthing Fighting Cocks their reward.

A Chris Green hat-trick was not enough as Fairstead Utd came away from White Rose with a 5-4 defeat.

Tilney took on Windmill Elite and another good all round team performance by Tilney saw them through to the next round with a 6-1 win with a second hat-trick of the season for Scott Gilham, and one each for Robert Eves, David Griggs, Callum Ryan, but have again been drawn away in the next round to Weeting.

Union Jack felt that they should have got a better result but it was missed chances that cost them as they went down 2-0 to Venture Albion.

Splinters Res travelled to Sporting Longdale and what a game it was as Splinters Res took control with a 2-0 lead before Longdale hit back and took the game into extra time. Splinters Res defended really well and got a well deserved winner to go into the next round with goals for Splinters Res from Jamie-Lee Flores, Micheal Woodhouse, and Man of the Match for Splinters Res was Ashley Gibbs.

Hilgay played Sprowston Royal Oak and were beaten 2-0 but felt they should have got at least a replay from the game.

In the league Bentinck Arms played their first game of the season against promoted side Docklands and what a game it was with both sides attacking and with Docklands holding on to a 3-2 only to concede a third with ten minutes to go when Ashley Keegan levelled the score. Docklands' goals were scored by Craig Smith, Danny Littlewood and Leigh Woodcock with David Yallop and Jonathan Hawes netting for Bentinck Arms.

Globe Bowls Club were up against Terrington with the wind playing a big part and it was Globe Bowls Club who took the lead with a goal after good work from Robbie Palmer and a good cross for Timothy Childs to finish. Globe Bowls Club scored a second goal with 10 minutes to go after great determination by Childs into the box who slid the ball to Rory Harper to finish.

Englands Hope played at home to promoted Retreat and what a good team performance by Retreat who came away with a really good win by three goals to one with goals for Retreat coming from a brace by Matty Smith and Liam Bowley with John Reedshaw replying for Englands Hope.

In Division Two Terrington Res took on old rivals Sutton Bridge Res and it was Terrington Res who turned on the style winning 6-0 with goals by Joseph Jackson (4), and one each for Adrian Hill and Steven Girdlestone.
