Sutton Bridge took on local rivals Terrington in the Cherrington Cup and it was Terrington that started the better putting Sutton Bridge under a lot of pressure but missing chances until the ninth minute when Terrington's Matthew Clayden hit a crisp volley from outside the area that looped over the keeper.

Sutton Bridge got back into the game before half-time with a really good strike by Sam Garrod. In the second half Terrington hit four more goals from Mattew Clayden, Kasim Beetlestone, Gavin Carney and Dean Twaite-Smith to win 5-1 in a game well handled by referee Ray Collings.

Englands Hope were up against Bentinck Arms for the second week and hoping to get a better result but it wasn't to be as they went down to a heavy 7-1 defeat with goals coming from Paul Hunt (2), Jonathan Hawes, David Yallop, Gavin Proctor, Steve Winterbottom and an own goal.

Splinters took on a Retreat side that are playing well in the top flight but were up against it when they went 5-1 down and then, with Splinters relaxing, Retreat got back into the game with three quick goals before Splinters came back to life and wrapped the game up with three more goals to win 8-4 with Liam Bowley getting a hat-trick for Retreat and one for John Connelly, and for Splinters it was four for Tom Doughty, two for Lee Clarke, and a goal each for Neil Goodbourne and Martin Harrowing.

In Division One Globe Bowls Club travelled to White Bell and the visitors took an early lead only for Bell to hit back with Globe Bowls leading 3-2 at half-time. Bell drew level at 3-3 in the second half only for Globe to take the lead again but another battling performance by Bell earned them a 5-5 draw with goals by Cairn Pennock-Halpin, Michael Gray, Adam Bell, Daniel Coates. Globes goals came from Aaron Proctor (2), Ash St John, Steven Parkes, and Chris Masim who missed a couple of sitters.

In Division Two Fowler were up against an in-form Tilney in what was a very tight game with only one goal from Tilney to split the two teams.

In the TGWU Cup Lynn Napier took on Terrington Res who won 4-0 with goals by Joe Jackson, Adrain Hill, Daniel Chapmean and Josuhua Bull.

Downham Old Boys continued their good form with another fine win over Splinters Res who took the lead with a goal by Micheal Woodhouse but Downham OB hit back with a goal by Ross Edwards and then took the lead with a goal by Ash Legge. Splinters Res came back with a second by Woodhouse and the game looked to be heading for extra time until Tristan Finnis scored the winner in the last couple of minutes to go through to the next round.

Sutton Bridge Res played a Union Jack team trying to get their season going and they did as they outplayed a Sutton Bridge Res side who went down to defeat by five goals to one with Union Jack goals by Karl Wilkin, Matthew Warnes, Tommy Thompson, Graham Barlow and Dean Taylor.

In the Junior County Cup William Burt had to replay their match against Earlham and lost after penalties but feel they shouldn't have had to play the game again.
