Like the rest of the county the Norwich Premier Security NEN League programme was decimated by the weather with the ground being too hard.
However two games did escape the elements, one of them was a semi–final of the Nicholson’s of Stalham Benevolent Cup which took take place at Coltishall, where Ludham were the visitors and with goals from Luke Southgate, Oliver Sayer, Joe Woodcock and Rhys Thurtel saw Colts into the final with Carl O’Connor netting for the visitors. Coltishall now await the winners of the other semi between Aldborough Lions and Gimingham.
The other game was the in the REW Subsidiary Cup, when at the Quarter final stage Division Three front runners Plumstead Rangers played hosts to Hickling in what were described as good conditions under foot and following a brace from Luke Hall and one apiece from Jamie Palmer, Adam Blake & Shane Grady saw them through by a 5-1 margin into the semi-finals
