Dereham and Wroxham could both be fielding under-strength sides tonight as they lock horns for the second time in four days in the Norfolk Senior Cup semi-final replay.

A bumper crowd of over 500 is expected at Dereham's Aldiss Park ground (kick off 7.45pm) as they teams bid to win through to a Carrow Road final against Norwich United.

Saturday's first match finished 2-2 after 120 gripping minutes' action and both teams picked up a number of casualties.

Dereham boss Robert Taylor is sweating on the fitness of five players - Sam Willis, George Jermy, Graham Challen and Nicky Howell - who all picked up knocks at the weekend.

"They are all carrying injuries from Saturday and we'll have to see how they are between now and Tuesday night," said Taylor, who was pleased with the way his side battled for 55 minutes with 10 men.

"It was a good performance from a young side. Some young lads have come into the club and some other good ones are coming through."

Striker Danny Wright - who scored both Dereham's goals before getting sent off on Saturday - will be available tonight as his suspension will not take affect for a couple of weeks.

The Magpies are bidding for their first ever Carrow Road final -while Wroxham are attempting to lift the Senior Cup for the seventh time.

With no televised games and no other significant local football on tonight, Taylor hopes a lot of people around the county will be lured to Aldiss Park.

"We're hoping for a big crowd and that will make a big difference. It would be good for the whole town to get behind us. We have come a long way in the way in the last year and we want to push on."

Meanwhile, Wroxham manager Damian Hilton has been forced into a make do and mend policy, cobbling together a team without inspirational skipper Justin Fox and his midfield colleague John Edridge who started suspension this week.

In addition winger Gary Gilmore who ruled himself unfit for Saturday's four goal thriller against the Magpies at Trafford Park is also unlikely to start.

Hilton, who hobbled from Saturday's game with an agonising groin strain was on painkillers yesterday but says he may have to force himself through the pain barrier to turn out for this vital showdown.

"We are struggling for players, but I can promise we shall go out there and fight for every ball, and I know the young players I am bringing in will not let us down," he said.
