Cup upset as Buxton bow out

The key Wayford Nurseries Division Two clash between the two promotion candidates ended with leaders Lyng losing 1-0 to Buxton Reserves, whose title bid following Carl Cooper's goal left them 10 points adrift of their rivals, who have played three games more. Bodham are almost certain champions of Knights Trophies Division Three following an 8-1 crushing of Corpusty Reserves that left them three points clear of Happisburgh Reserves, who have played three games more following their 3-3 draw at Felmingham.
