Norwich City's second string brought the curtain down on their season with a comfortable 3-1 win at Carrow Road last night.
Victory means they look set to finish second, way behind rivals Ipswich, in the Pontin's Holiday Combination League table.
Midfielder Damon Lathrope showed why City boss Glenn Roeder gave him his first professional contract with a 25 yard thunderbolt to put the Canaries ahead after just 11 minutes.
Danny Kelly finished a good move to make it 2-0 after 22 minutes but it took until the 70th minute for City's Josh Dawkin to put the result beyond doubt, with Sam Baldock replying for the visitors four minutes later.
