The 18-year-old winger has won caps at under-17 and under-19 level for Wales and has been put on alert for the friendly international against Malta in Ta'Qali on August 10 - along with another Canaries Academy product David Stephens, who joined Scottish Premier League side Hibs earlier this month.
Dawkin - born in Huntingdon - signed a one-year pro deal with City just last month, having made his senior debut in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory over Gillingham last October, making his first start in the next round, at Swindon.
