Young goalkeeper Declan Rudd is another product of the club's Academy set-up having been with Norwich City since he was just nine years old.
The 2007-08 season ended on a positive note for Declan who was named as substitute 'keeper for City's final game of the Championship season away to Sheffield Wednesday. He followed up that honour by signing his first professional contract in the summer of 2008.
Although Declan was unable to force his way on to the first team scene last season he enjoyed an excellent 2008-09 campaign and became the hero of the youth team's exciting run in the FA Youth Cup.
He will surely be looking to push for the No 1 jersey despite the signing of Michael Theoklitos.
