Nathan Stone's double secured victory for K&P over local rivals Lowestoft - and left the Blues still waiting for the two wins they need to secure the Ridgeons Premier title.
Stone latched on to a through ball to put K&P ahead on eight minutes in front of a crowd of 1,068 at Walmer Road.
The lead was doubled on 28 minutes, as following a goalmouth scramble Stone's effort took a couple of deflections before finding its way into the net.
K& P dominated the first period and also struck the woodwork, before Lowestoft came back into the game in the second half. But the Blues created few openings as they suffered their second successive league defeat.
