Fakenham Town, bottom of Division One without a win, took Premier Division title-chasers Dereham into extra-time before tumbling out of the Ridgeons League Cup last night.
After a scoreless first half The Ghosts stunned the hosts with a goal directly from the second half restart when Kevin Whittred headed in Neale's flag kick.
Dereham equalised in the 75th minute from the spot after Woodhouse had handled Smith's goal-bound drive, Paul Atkins netting from the resultant penalty. And in extra time the Magpies won with two goals in five minutes from Nicky Howell and Joel Brien.
