Striker Liam Dickinson is the latest name linked with Norwich City as Derby look to cut their losses on one of former boss Paul Jewell's signings.

Dickinson, 23, joined the Rams for 750,000 from Stockport last summer but failed to play a first team game last season. Instead he was loaned out to Huddersfield, Blackpool - where he began his career - and Leeds, scoring 10 goals. Now Derby are reported to be ready to offload the Salford-born forward for as little as 200,000.

Charlton may also be interested in Dickinson, who scored Stockport's third in the 3-2 win over Rochdale in the League Two play-off final in 2008.

City already appear to have lost out to Charlton on one transfer target, with MK Dons' out-of-contract defender Miguel Angel Llera close to a move to The Valley, in preference to joining Scunthorpe or moving to Carrow Road.
