In the Intermediate County Cup Splinters were playing at home to Aslacton & Great Moulton and went a goal up through Danny Jezeuph but it was missed chances that really cost Splinters as Aslacton took advantage and scored four goals to progress to the next round where they will face either Globe Bowls Club or Tilney Royals away.

Bentinck Arms took on fellow Lynn League side Terrington and it was not about midway in the first half that Terrington took the lead with a goal by Matt Claydon followed by a second by Ian Prudence. Just before half-time Bentinck Arms got back into the game with a goal from Gary Setchell. In the second half Bentinck Arms were awarded a penalty which Gary Setchell converted to make the game all square. The tie was heading for extra-time when Bentinck Arms got that all important winner with a goal from Kevin White. Bentinck Arms have now been drawn away in the quarter finals to either Windmill or New Buckenham.

In the league Division Two leaders Fairstead Utd faced Lynn Napier who went 1-0 up with a goal by S Hayden, but within a couple of minutes Fairstead Utd drew level with a goal by Danny Child. Lynn Napier then went ahead for the second time courtesy of B Key, but Fairstead Utd hit back again with a goal from Nathan Mitchell. Lynn Napier went 3-2 up through C Mogg but there was another sting in the tail from Fairstead who draw level with a goal from Michael Thompson before Fairstead Utd got that all important winner from Charlie Defty to win 4-3.

Splinters Res travelled to Downham Old Boys who they beat last week but this was a closer game. Splinters Res went a goal up through Michael Woodhouse, but Downham Old Boys hit back with a goal by John Murphy. Splinters Res regained the lead through A Manning, but once more Old Boys hit back to level with a goal by Jerry Lowery for a share of the points.

After winning their first game of the season last weekend William Burt played away at Fowler but couldn't reproduce last week's performance as they went down to Fowler 8-1 with Fowler's goals coming from new signing David Cordy (4), Dean Gotsell, Ben Davison, Sam Turpin, Ulsiva, and Jamie Gollands with the solitary goal for William Burt.

Union Jack were up against a Tilney side still in the hunt for the league title and it was Tilney who took the points with a good win over a battling Union Jack side by seven goals to one with goals for Tilney from Scott Gilham (2), Robert Eves (2), M Rossiter, Callum Ryan, A Everett, and for Union Jack it was Jim Pigot who's season has not really got going yet.
