Gary Doherty's return to Kenilworth Road will coincide with a City career landmark tonight.
If Doherty plays, it will be his 100th senior appearance for the Canaries since signing from Tottenham in the summer of 2004, giving him the fourth highest total of the current squad behind Adam Drury, Paul McVeigh and Darren Huckerby.
The 27-year-old centre-back began his career at Luton before moving on to Spurs for £1m in 2000.
His 99 first-team games for City have so far yielded three goals, the last of which came against Hull at Carrow Road 17 months ago, so tonight would be an opportune time to chalk up his first of the season.
