Norwich City manager Nigel Worthington looks certain to recall striker Robert Earnshaw to his starting line-up at Carrow Road this afternoon.

The big money signing has found himself on the bench in the Canaries' two previous away games - but he has been a permanent fixture at Carrow Road since his January move and is expected to line up alongside Leon McKenzie against Leicester.

The switch back to a traditional 4-4-2 shape should see Simon Charlton drop out in a horse for courses move, leaving Carl Robinson and Andy Hughes to patrol the central midfield area. Youssef Safri could also come into contention, although at low-key performance as a substitute in the 2-0 defeat Burnley won't have helped the Moroccan international's cause.

Worthington is hoping Adam Drury will be fit to play after failing to last the distance at Turf Moor. There were fears that the defender had broken his arm in a collision with Jason Shackell, but the problem turned out to be nothing more serious than a hyper-extension of the elbow and now the pain has subsided he should be able to take up his regular position at left-back.

Paul McVeigh hasn't been so lucky. He took a nasty knock in the back during City's previous home fixture against Sheffield United and although he is now on the mend he will miss his second successive game today.

In his absence on-loan Charlton man Jonatan Johansson will be given another chance to impress and will be looking to maintain a good sequence of home displays that has seen him score three in five appearances, only three of which have been starts.

Once again Worthington will have plenty of options for the bench, with reserve keeper Darren Ward (back) and defender Matthieu Louis-Jean (hamstring) the only other players on the injured list at present.

Reserve keeper Paul Gallacher is the one certainty, while the likes of Charlton, Safri, Dickson Etuhu, Ian Henderson and Peter Thorne could also feature. Thorne will be particularly keen for a call-up, having been overlooked completely since a poor display in the 4-1 defeat at Crystal Palace on February 25.
