It was League Cup semi-final day and in the Smallburgh Crown Division One League Cup East Ruston booked their final place following a 4-0 home win over visitors Runton thanks to a brace from Olli Wilkins and one apiece from Ash Wilton and Gareth Moore.

They must now wait to see who they will meet in the final as an unfit ground at North Walsham curtailed the other semi between the Town’s ‘A’ side and Coltishall.

The Rivett Motors Division Two final will be between Mundesley, who saw off Cawston at home, hitting five goals without reply and Cromer Youth Old Boys who caused the upset of the day at Holt ‘A’ thanks to a brace from Oliver Gahegani and one apiece from Michael Warnes and Wade Stanforth.

In the Slater & Frith Division One Gimingham kept up the pressure at the top of the table with a brace each from Charlie Skipper, Ryan Beeson and Wayne Cutting as they ran out 6-0 winners at home to Corpusty. Haisboro Athletic were odd goal winners of five over Aldborough Lions and Ludham were also odd goal winners at Lyng this time of three.

In the Walcott Lighthouse Division Three League Cup Group Competition there were wins for Worstead Reserves 2-0 over Plumstead Rangers and Mundesley Reserves hit Felmingham for six who replied just the once.
