Elmham giant-killers win place in final

North Elmham have been celebrating a Crown Fire Central & South Norfolk League giant-killing act. The Division Two team beat Division One champions Great Ryburgh 4-3 to reach the Ben Smith Memorial Cup final, against Wymondham Town A at Aldiss Park, dereham, on bank holiday Monday morning.

The Division Two team beat Division One champions Great Ryburgh 4-3 to reach the Ben Smith Memorial Cup final, against Wymondham Town A at Aldiss Park, dereham, on bank holiday Monday morning. Feltwell are a point behind Division Two leaders Saham Toney, with a game in hand, after drawing 0-0 with Mulbarton Wanderers. Shipdham, second in Division Three, also dropped two points, drawing 1-1 with Wymondham Town A. Thetford Athletic need only two points from their last three fixtures to clinch the Division Four title after they beat third-placed Cherry Tree 1-0.

Division One: Dereham Town A 3, Stoke Ferry 0; Swaffham Town A 4, Tacolneston 0.

Division Two: Mulbarton Wanderers 0, Feltwell 0; Wendling 6, Bridgham 2.
