Wisbech Town boss Dick Creasey is eyeing the Conference National big boys in today's FA Cup fourth qualifying round draw.

The Ridgeons Premier Division giant-killers sprung another upset with Martin McNeil and Liam Harrold on the mark in a 2-1 win at Southern League, Division One Midlands club Solihull Borough.

Creasey hopes the latest twist in the fairytale has a happy ending at FA headquarters.

"This is right up there with anything I've previously achieved as a manager," he said. "The competition has been exceptional for us this year. The dream is still alive and we are now possibly 90 minutes from the first round proper. We can look forward to the draw. If you ask me who'd I want in an ideal world I'm in two minds. A winnable game at home might be nice to keep it going. If we got someone like Oxford, Cambridge United or Rushden away that would be a great day out for everyone.

"People were talking about King's Lynn straight after the final whistle. That would generate a huge amount of local interest - we'll just have to wait and see. Whatever happens now this run has given the club a great financial boost."

Creasey praised his cup fighters' battling spirit after Solihull hit back through Phil Rowe early in the second half to set up a grandstand finish. Both sides finished the tie at Damson Park with ten men - Town's Andy Lodge dismissed in the final minutes for a second bookable offence.

"We've been underdogs in every round, but deservedly gone through," said Creasey. "It was the same in this game. The lads were tremendous first half. We defended well and took our chances when they came. To get a second just before half time was a great boost. I said to them in the changing rooms we were in for another Redditch - you knew they would come at us.

"I was a bit disappointed with the goal we conceded. We gave away a free kick through a clumsy challenge although, to be fair, it was a good header at the far post.

"We then had to hold out for ten minutes while they put us under pressure. I felt we settled down again and were taking the game to them again when the two players were sent off.

"I've got no complaints with Andy Lodge's dismissal. The second booking probably came through tiredness because we'd had a hard week with four hours against Ely in the Vase before this game."

The Fenland Park boss now wants the cup feelgood factor to help kick start his side's patchy league form.

"The lads probably thought I was crazy, but that was the message in the changing room at five o'clock Saturday," he said. "We must carry this into the league. In all honesty we've been poor so far and we need to get back on track, starting with Harwich at the weekend."
