ST BENETS WASPS U12A won through to the final of the shield with a convincing performance. Wasps raced to a three-goal lead through strikes from TGC and a long-range shot from Will. TGC was in excellent form and added a further two goals to give him a total of four. Wolfie looked good in goal and the defence was solid. Cieran had another exceptional game whilst Callum and Will won everything in midfield. Ollie set up the fourth goal and Steven put in some good crosses. Hemsby battled hard throughout and added a consolation goal in the last minute. Final score: Wasps 5, Hemsby 1.

ST BENETS WASPS U14B were at home to Freethorpe. Wasps hadn't played for weeks but the team started well and Callum scored from Matt's long throw. Jamie scored a second from Matt's cross. Elliott and the Wasps defence restricted Freethorpe to few clear-cut chances, although they did score from a well-struck shot before Jamie linked well with Sam to make it 3-1 at half-time. Wasps produced some great passing moves in the second half, making good use of the wings. More goals were scored by Callum (4) and Jamie (2) with one each for Matt and Luke. This was an impressive performance by the whole team. Jamie and Callum finished well. Greg and Matt were sound in the centre of defence. Sam's all-round display deserved a goal and Nathan played well on his debut. Every player contributed to this result and showed determination and skill.
