In the Premier Division, Acle Rangers brushed off the cobwebs to beat league leaders The Grove 4-1. No games were played in 1A, but in 1B, Norfolk CCSC went top after winning 3-2 at previous leaders Aylsham Sunday. The other game in the division saw Hillside OB gain a valuable point (Ben Jervis & Matt Nudd) at Drayton in a 2-2 draw.

In 2A, Vale Longo moved up to third spot with a good 5-1 (Pete Crowley, Kevin Brown, Jatinder Dhaliwal and Jerry Archer) win over second placed Norman Wanderers "A", all five goals were set up by the outstanding Gavin Powley, whilst goals by Stuart Catchpole and Lee Kirby saw Deopham jump a few places after a 2-0 win at Coachmakers Arms. Well done to Thorpe Rovers in 2B who gained their first win of the season, 3-2 at PL Rangers. The game between Sprowston Rovers and Acle Rangers Res couldn't produce a goal, whilst St Faiths moved up to third spot after beating The Gordon 5-1.

The Otter are the new leaders of 3A after a 2-0 home win over Temple Bar. Upton are now second after storming back from 3-1 down at half-time to gain a narrow 4-3 (Ulph, Nelson, Elvin & Lish) victory over DCS Rapid for whom Weavers (2) and Gardner had found the target. There was a shock for 3B leaders Mischief Tavern as they went down 3-1 at Hethersett Res. The day's other league game was in 4A where Hellesdon Res beat Kings Arms 5-2.

AFC Wanderers ensured that the league will have at least one side in the Sunday Senior Cup Final when they won a dramatic Quarter Final game at Camden Tavern of the Yarmouth League 6-4 (aet). Of the games still to be played, Marlborough play El Sol of Yarmouth, whilst the other two quarter finals are all Norwich affairs, Dog House v Costessey Sports and Prince of Denmark v Norwich Busmen. Good Luck to all.

Sprowston Royal Oak kept the league flag flying in the Sunday Junior Cup, winning 3-1 at Star & Garter. Our other representatives Wellington Pink Un's, play their quarter final next week.
