Canaries duo Mark Fotheringham and Gary Doherty are expected to make their returns from injury tonight. Both have been included in Ricky Martin's second string squad for the game against Northampton Town Reserves at Carrow Road (7.30pm).
Midfielder Fotheringham has been out of action since injuring ankle ligaments during the latter stages of the home win over Southampton on August 18, while central defender Doherty has missed the last seven games because of a groin injury.
They definitely start tonight, as do on-loan Chelsea midfielder Jimmy Smith and Czech striker David Strihavka.
City's reserves have a chance to go back to the top of the Pontins Holiday Combination East Division table with a win. They have dropped to third behind rivals Ipswich, with Peterborough now in second. Both teams have a dozen points, with City one behind. With the two teams above them playing at London Road tonight, City could sneak back into top spot.
