The wintry weather took its toll on the NPSS Security Services NEN League with more than a third of the scheduled programme falling foul of the elements.

However Gimingham took advantage when at home to Ludham with goals from Marcus Jimpson, Alistair Thurston and Jim Drake they recorded a 3-1 success with the visitor’s goal coming from Michael Harle and this result took Gimingham to the top of the Slater and Frith Division One table. Mundesley travelled to Corpusty and collected maximum points following their 7-1 win.

Plumstead Rangers, leaders of Wayford Nurseries Division Two, maintained their top spot following their odd goal win of five over Cawston. Holt ‘A’ returned to winning ways with a stunning 7-1 home win over Aldborough Lions. Erpingham, with goals from James McMillan (4) and Ben Nicholls, ran out 5-1 victors at home to Gimingham Reserves for whom Rob Haylett replied whilst Blakeney notched up a 4-1 home win to Hickling.

Knights Trophies Division Three Leaders, Trunch, were involved in a seven goal thriller at home to East Ruston Reserves on target for Trunch were Ashley Clarke, Harry Carrington, Jack Crane and Liam Amos with Tony Myers, Chris Love and Ash Wilton replying for the visitors. Southrepps recovered from last week’s heavy defeat to inflict a 7-1 destruction on Erpingham Reserves. Felmingham kept up their winning ways with a 4-1 home win over Plumstead Reserves.
