Hethersett Athletic Ladies’ teams had a good week.
The Firsts beat Woodbridge 8-0 to banish any relegation worries and the Hearts moved into second place in the Norwich Women’s League with a 6-3 win over fellow promotion contenders Coltishall Jaguars.
Emma Mulley scored four for the first team with Abi Charlton scoring a hat-trick and Grace Birchall completing the scoring.
Hannah Waters hit a hat-trick for Hearts with Stacey Annison adding two and Vicki Swann also on the scoresheet. Hearts move a point above Coltishall with both teams having two games to play.
Unfortunately Hethersett have to play runaway leaders Acle at home on April 8th. Acle have a 100% league record with 16 wins out of 16.
