Kirkley & Pakefield remain rooted to the bottom of the table after another heavy defeat.
The Royals were thumped 4-1 at home by Godmanchester Rovers – a week after shipping six at Newmarket – and have now conceded 25 goals in eight league games.
There was a big defeat too for Wroxham, who came down to earth with a bump after a six-game unbeaten run when they lost 5-1 at Newmarket.
Thetford Town were thumped 5-0 at home by Felixstowe & Walton United so it was left to Gorleston to salvage some local pride – they were 2-1 winners at Stanway Rovers. The Greens’ goals from Connor Deeks and Jack Cottingham, on his debut.
In the First Division, King’s Lynn Town Reserves were 5-2 winners at AFC Sudbury Reserves, with goals from Matty Dye (2) and one each for Jack Frohawk, Dylan Edge and an own goal, while Norwich United beat Wisbech St Mary 3-1.
