Gorleston turn the tables
Gorleston Rangers Ladies played Freethorpe for the second week in a row - and this time they won.
It was a good competitive match between these two sides with lot of girls knowing each other.
Last week Freethorpe were 3-0 up in 20 minutes and Gorleston finally woke up and pulled two goals back but couldn’t get an equaliser so Freethorpe won 3-2.
But this week, with a proper warm-up, Gorleston were a much more solid unit and the girls were really working hard for each other right across pitch.
At half time it was 0-0 and Gorleston kept up the pressure and got their reward with Sam tucking away after a good build up and Freethorpe came close a couple of times.
Gorleston on another day would have wrapped it up but missed an easy chance, but still got a deserved 1-0 win.
Player of the match: the whole team.
