Gr-eight win for Norwich City Girls
Norwich City Girls U12 for the first time this season had to overcome sickness and unavailability for their visit to Colt Jags.
With the manager also away with the U10 side, assistant Matthew took control.
Any concerns were quickly banished with an early goal and with goals being scored at regular intervals throughout the game Norwich Girls had a comfortable 8-0 victory (Rachel 3, Emily 4 and a debut goal from Beth C).
At the Christmas break the girls had played eight, won six and lost two and are through to the semi-finals of the League Cup. With 14 league games still to play they will have a busy 2011.
Norwich City Girls U10 visited Swanton with only the seven players and no subs. Norwich had numerous chances but could not find a way past the Swanton goalkeeper and went in at half time 0-0.
