Hethersett Ladies real title contenders
Chelmsford Ladies 1, Hethersett Athletic Ladies 2
FOOTBALL: Hethersett Ladies look to be real title contenders after a fine 2-1 win at Chelmsford.
With half the Eastern Region Premier Division season gone, Hethersett remain unbeaten at the top of the league and this week face another tough task when they visit Bedford.
Hethersett have stayed unbeaten despite numerous injuries already this season and it is a testament to how quickly young players have adapted to senior football.
Grace Birchall hit a brace and was excellently supported by the remainder of the team with Emma Mulley outstanding and the defence holding firm when put under pressure by a Chelmsford side who had come back from being 3-0 down at Hethersett to steal a point in the opening match of the season.
