Also a hero was their keeper who saved a spot kick, as Hickling recorded their first win of the season and in doing so inflicted the first defeat upon their visitors.

Mundesley slipped into the bottom two as they dropped all three points when at home to East Ruston they went down 2-0. Seven goals were netted at Horning where Runton were the visitors and it was they who returned home with the points, winners by a 4-3 margin. Coltishall completed a league double over Lyng, this time winning 7-1.

Wayford Nurseries Division Two leaders Aldborough Lions added three more points to their tally when visiting nine-man Haisboro Athletic and hitting them for six without reply. Second placed Briston hosted Holt A and ran out 8-3 victors. Aylsham A won well at Stalham A (7-2), Buxton Res won away at Mundesley Res (4-2) whilst Erpingham and Corpusty Res shared the spoils and six goals.

Worstead, Knights Trophies Division Three Leaders, suffered their first reverse of the season, when Aldborough Lions Res came from being 3-1 down to win 4-3. Briston Res missed their chance to close the gap when they dropped two points when held by Cromer Youth Old Boys 2-2, who themselves also sit behind Worstead. Holt Colts were 1-0 home winners over Cawston and East Ruston Res who were twice behind came back to share the spoils with Gimingham Res 2-2.
