Albion were looking to put in a performance against a Homecare team who had beaten them convincingly the previous week.

A healthy number of players were available to manager Bowes-Shorten and the team looked solid from the whistle, pressing the home side and forcing mistakes.

At the back Mackenzie and Philo dominated and reduced Homecare to half chances. Albion again worked hard in the second half and were unlucky to go a goal down after a ball from the right was converted by the Homecare striker.

With tiring legs Albion quickly conceded a second before a Martin own goal saw any hopes of a result fade quickly. Jake Jenner saw a shot on the turn fly narrowly wide of the Homecare goal and Jut Philo had a swerving shot well saved as Albion looked to get the goal they deserved.

A fourth Homecare goal late in the game gave the scoreline a somewhat one-sided look but Albion will be pleased that they battled and put in a more effective performance than the previous week.
