During the rest of the half Mousehold had several more attempts but were unable to increase their lead, while Drayton didn't produce anything convincing.

In the second half Mousehold again had the clearer chances, but Drayton were getting more and more urgent in their play.
About 80 minutes in, they had their first real shot on goal, the keeper saved it but the ball went out for a corner, and in the resulting confusion in the Mousehold defence they scored.

From there on in Drayton were pushing hard for the winner, but Mousehold held them off for a point.
