Canaries legend Darren Huckerby has been named Most Valuable Player of the season by his American team, the San Jose Earthquakes. Huckerby, one of the few two-time winners of Norwich's own Player of the Season award, also won the Budweiser Golden Boot award for being leading scorer.

Huckerby, one of the few two-time winners of Norwich's own Player of the Season award, also won the Budweiser Golden Boot award for being leading scorer.
He made an immediate impact, scoring in his first two home matches and ended the season, which he joined halfway through, with six goals and four assists in 13 games.
Huckerby was named Major League Soccer Player of the Month for September, when he scored three goals and notched one assist.
