Supporters of Norwich City have been getting rather excited online this afternoon following an apparent leak of the Canaries’ new home kit.
Some eagle-eyed fans spotted a new Twitter account with the username @NCFCcommstest had posted its first message, simply saying: “Smoke Test - Ivo Pinto.”
Whether the attached photo featuring Canaries defender Pinto wearing a new kit is genuine is not yet clear as the account has since deleted the tweet and City are yet to comment on the supposed leak.
The image features a new sponsor’s logo, as expected, of mobile gaming and gambling website LeoVegas. The company have also just been announced as shirt sponsor and title partner of City’s Championship rivals Brentford and are also the official betting and gaming partner of rugby union club Leicester Tigers.
Last season saw the Aviva Community Fund logo feature on the Canaries’ shirts, as part of the first year of a three-year community partnership with the club’s main sponsor.
