Wroxham visit Harwich and Parkeston tonight knowing that failure to secure maximum points from their remaining games will extinguish all hopes of retaining their title following Saturday's disappointing 1-1 draw at Wisbech.

The Yachtsmen's other fixtures are Mildenhall home and away, Woodbridge away and Ipswich Wanderers at home from which the possible total is 95 points.

Soham Town, whose points potential is 99, are away to King's Lynn Reserves then Leiston at home, with a crunch end-of-season home clash with Needham Market.

Needham, who can finish with 101 points, visit Norwich United, Ipswich Wanderers and Dereham Town and have two home games against Harwich and Parkeston and Histon Reserves before that vital end game at Soham. That match could decide who are the new champions and runners-up unless Wroxham benefit from an unexpected collapse by one of the top two.

"To be honest, I do not believe we deserve the title this season because of our inconsistent form," confessed Wroxham manger Damian Hilton (pictured). "We deserved our victory at Needham but despite dominating the game at Wisbech we failed to produce the winning goal. It's been that sort of season."

Meanwhile, Wroxham Reserves could be confirmed as Anglian Combination Premier Division champions tonight.

The only team who can still catch the runaway leaders is Cromer, who play host to bottom club Mattishall. If Mattishall spring a surprise win, Wroxham will be champions.
