NEN LEAGUE: The destination of two league titles was decided on Saturday with Gimingham being crowned Slater & Frith Division One champions while Mundesley Reserves lifted Knights Trophies Division Three.

The destination of two league titles were decided on Saturday with Gimingham being crowned Slater & Frith Division One champions while Mundesley Reserve lifted Knights Trophies Division Three.

For Gimingham it was their first triumph in the top division sealed by a 5-1 victory over Horning with Thornton contributing a hat-trick to launch the celebrations.

Mundesley are as good as runners-up while in the basement Hickling and Erpingham are the two facing relegation.

The battle between Bodham and Runton for the Wayford Nurseries Division Two title will be resolved when the two rivals meet in a midweek showdown. Bodham beat Briston 2-1 in a midweek game to go three points clear of the Seasiders on level games.

Dilham are already relegated and they will be joined either by Holt Colts or Felmingham who were without games.

Mundesley Reserves clinched their division three by beating their nearest challengers Haisboro Athletic 3-1 but the losers will also gain promotion.

Slater & Frith Division One: Corpusty 2, North Walsham OB 1; East Ruston 3, Lyng 1; Gimingham 5, Horning 1; North Walsham A 7, Happisburgh 2.

Knights Trophies Division Three: Blakeney 0, Briston Res 6; Hickling Res 3, Cawston 3; Mundesley Res 3, Haisboro Ath 1.
