NEN LEAGUE:East Ruston's chances of completing the league and cup double were enhanced by a convincing 5-0 victory over Erpingham as they began the defence of the Smallburgh Crown Division One Cup.

In Slater & Frith Division One, Mundesley's title hopes were damaged by a surprising 3-2 defeat at Corpusty, while Happisburgh are up to second spot, two points adrift of the leaders with a game in hand after a substantial 7-2 victory at Hickling.

Bodham's relentless march towards the Wayford Nurseries Division Two championship continued unchecked and they now enjoy an unblemished record of 33 points from 11 games following their overwhelming 8-1 victory over Corpusty Reserves. With only half their fixtures completed they have established a stunning goal difference of 85-10.

At the bottom of the table, it's a relegation dog fight between four teams - Aylsham A, Holt A, Dilham and Felmingham.
