Striker Simeon Jackson is determined his finishing will be razor-sharp before the real business of Norwich City's Championship season gets under way.

Jackson, whose move from Gillingham for a reported 600,000 was completed last Friday, knows it will take time to develop an understanding with his attacking team-mates, one of whom, skipper Grant Holt, missed the Stevenage game through injury.
“Sometimes it might take a while but it's all about working together in training and seeing what each other likes and getting used to each other,” he said.
Gillingham provide the opposition for City's second competitive fixture of the season - the Carling Cup first round tie at Carrow Road on Tuesday, August 10. But Jackson places no greater importance on the game than any other.
“I'm excited at being here and looking forward to the season and that's just another game in the season,” he said.
