A memorable late goal from Joel Brien steered Dereham to victory in an entertaining friendly.
The Linnets arrived at Aldiss Park with a mixture of first team and reserve players and found themselves 2-0 down at the break, with Danny Beaumont linking well with Robbie Harris to open the scoring before setting up Paul Atkins to make it two.
With assistant manager Andy Johnson playing the full game, Lynn reduced the arrears on 75 minutes through Tom White and thought they had snatched a draw when Phil Green headed home late on.
But Brien had other ideas and conjured up an excellent individual effort to settle the game.
