The Canaries went down to a third successive EFL Championship defeat on the eve of the final break of 2017, at a Bolton Wanderers side that started the day at the foot of the table.

When Farke’s Canaries return to action on Saturday, they welcome Paul Heckingbottom’s Barnsley before Alex Neil’s Preston make the same Carrow Road trip the following weekend – sandwiching a trip to Mark Warburton’s Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.
