The Yachtsmen claimed a deserved three points from this game despite a much-changed team and had their keeper to thank for a series of top saves.
With Spriggs, Daniels, Gilmore, Simpson and Challen all having to sit out and watch due to injuries manager David Batch had to switch things around and included Ross Durrant on his full debut starting up front with Trevor Benjamin.
With the pitch already heavy, the rain started to fall and both sides were having difficulty in keeping their footing.

Most of the first half was played in the mid field and neither keeper had a shot to save. It was a relief when the whistle was blown for half-time.
No changes were made as the teams came out to start the second half but it only took manager Batch ten minutes to make his first change when he took off Benjamin and brought on Cook as his replacement.

This livened up the game and it was Wroxham who started to look the better team as they were now pushing forward and it was in the 60th minute when Wroxham went ahead with an outstanding goal that was started by Lemmon.
He gave the ball to Durrant who beat three defenders and then passed the ball to Self who then went on to beat a couple of defenders himself and then let fly with an excellent shot, giving the keeper no chance.
Haverhill then came back into the game and had a couple of very good chances that were wasted.
The heavy ground was beginning to take its toll on players on both sides.
Wroxham were now having to hold on and it was goalkeeper Howie who kept Wroxham in the game with four outstanding saves in the last ten minutes to enable Wroxham to collect the three points they deserved.
On Tuesday Wroxham travel to Wisbech and then on to the biggest game Wroxham have been involved in which is the first leg of the FA Vase semi-final next Sunday in Brighton against Whitehawks.
The second leg will be played at Trafford Park on Saturday, April 3 at 3pm.
Tickets for this game are now on sale at Roys of Wroxham, Dolphin Autos Norwich and Hazell butchers at Sprowston.
