Peter Grant has a major goalkeeping decision to make today- but insists that the turnover between the sticks doesn't make it a troublesome position.

Paul Gallacher, Lee Camp and Jamie Ashdown have all worn to the jersey this season - and on-loan Celtic keeper David Marshall could be the next should Grant hand him his debut at Burnley today.

Not since the 1946-47 season have City fielded four different goalkeepers in league games, but Grant denied this year's ins and outs denoted a trouble spot.

“It tends to suggest everywhere else is a worrying area for us as well with the results we have had, not just the goalkeeping position,” he said.

“As a team I have think we have let ourselves down. If somebody gets sent off, I can't do much about that, if somebody is cup tied, I can't do much about that. Gall (Gallacher) was injured - I can't do much about that.

“That's the reason there have been so many goalkeepers. Unfortunately, I think that is the way it has been since we came here. We lost Hucks and Earnie for a bit and now we have lost Earnie again. We lost Doherty, we lost Fleming, we lost Croft and Chadwick, there is nothing you can do about that.

“I have changed the wide right player, I have changed the wide left player a lot, I have changed centre midfield a lot.”
