The Bloaters held their full-time opponents throughout the first half, but the professionals upped their game after the break and scored four times in the last 33 minutes through Alan Trouten, Roddy MacLennan (two) and Yarmouth's Alan Darby (own ).
"It was a splendid experience for our young lads, especially the youth team players out there, and I'm proud of them," said Yarmouth joint-manager Paul Tong. "We really appreciate what Clyde have done in coming here."
The Under-nine tournament that preceded the main event was won by Norwich City Academy with the hosts, Yarmouth, coming second.
FA Vase finalists Lowestoft Town kick off their pre season tonight with a home match against Anglian Combination side Sheringham (7.45pm). Tomorrow's scheduled game against Bourne has been cancelled by the Lincolnshire side.
