King's Lynn's injured striker Gareth Sheldon has been ruled out of tomorrow's Unibond Premier Division home game against North Ferriby at The Walks.

Linnets' chief Carl Heggs confirmed this morning Sheldon is set for further scans on the damaged left knee that saw him stretchered off after scoring twice in the weekend 4-2 league win at Guiseley.

Sheldon went for x-rays at a local hospital in the Midlands after returning from Yorkshire on Saturday night which confirmed no break but the 29-year-old is poised for a midweek scan to assess any potential ligament damage.

Heggs hinted he will pair Owen Story alongside versatile new signing Danny Spencer up front tomorrow with Sheldon's Guiseley strike Anthony Robinson beginning a three match ban.
