Striker Omar Koroma is out of action for up to three months after having an ankle operation, City boss Glenn Roeder revealed today.
Earlier this week, Koroma, on a season-long loan from Portsmouth, was listed on the Canaries' official website as one of the loan players eligible for FA Cup duty, but it transpires he was already ruled out by injury and is back with Pompey.
“OJ's out for 10 weeks. He's had an operation. He got injured in a behind-closed-doors game,” said Roeder.
“He's injured an ankle - not serious. It sounds serious because of the length of time but that's because he's young. An older player you might push back in after six weeks but it could be 10, 12 weeks.
“You have take extra care of him so he's back at Portsmouth having rehab.”

Roeder's options for tomorrow's third round tie at Charlton may be further reduced by an ankle injury to Mark Fotheringham.
“Fozzy got an injury yesterday in training that makes him only 50-50 for the game. He came off worse in a tackle with Pattison - that's life,” said Roeder.
Fotheringham will travel, but youngsters Damon Lathrope, Korey Smith and Tom Adeyemi will also be included in the travelling party with City able to name seven substitutes in the FA Cup.
Antoine Sibierski is a definite starter in attack, where he is likely to be partnered by Darel Russell or Arturo Lupoli.
Elliott Omozusi is eligible for tomorrow's match after Fulham boss Roy Hodgson confirmed the young defender can complete his full season on loan with City, as originally planned.
