On-loan Arsenal midfielder Henri Lansbury is hoping to complete his comeback from a hamstring injury on Saturday.

The 20-year-old Gunners star, who is due back at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday after two months on loan at Carrow Road, picked up the knock following City’s 2-1 victory at Coventry City on December 18. Asked on Monday when Norwich fans could see him back in a Norwich shirt on his Twitter page, Lansbury replied: “Sat (sic) I think.”

The youngster’s availability would be a welcome boost for Norwich boss Paul Lambert, who has had several injuries to deal with over the festive and new year period.

Cardiff and Norwich sit second and third in the Championship table respectively, both on 43 points with the Bluebirds’ marginally better goal difference keeping them in the division’s second automatic promotion spot.

Lansbury has made four league starts for City since arriving on loan towards the end of November. It remains to be seen whether Norwich will look to extend the loan beyond this weekend.
