Canaries keeper Joe Lewis was set to complete the final details of a loan move to League Two newcomers Morecambe last night.
The 19-year-old trained with the Shrimps yesterday and will stay on loan until December 31.
City boss Peter Grant has been keen to send out Lewis - who signed a three-year deal in the summer - to enable him to gain valuable first team experience, with Brighton linked with a move for the youngster last month after his successful stint with Stockport at the end of last season.
Morecambe's first choice keeper, Steven Drench, is injured so Lewis is likely to get the first team experience Grant demands - something he is unlikely to get at Carrow Road where he is behind David Marshall, Matty Gilks and Paul Gallacher in the batting order.
