King's Lynn's Conference demotion appeal has been postponed following talks this morning with the FA.

Linnets' chairman Ken Bobbins confirmed their appeal will now talk place on either Thursday or Friday next week - having originally being scheduled for Derby on Tuesday.

FA leagues' manager Mike Appleby has sanctioned the delay to allow the Conference's legal team more time to prepare their case.

Bobbins confirmed, however, any attempt by the Conference hierarchy to block Lynn's right of appeal had been rejected.
