King's Lynn's Blue Square North home game against Southport tomorrow has passed a Friday lunchtime inspection.

No further inspections are planned however club officials are inviting supporters to help form a working party to help ground staff clear any remaining snow or water from the pitch on Saturday morning.

A club statement read: “The pitch has passed a 1pm inspection today. No further inspections are planned. However, if any supporters wish to report to the ground at 8am on Saturday morning and ask for either Tim Coates or Jim Suckling there may be the need for any residual snow and water to be released from the pitch. Any supporters wishing to assist at the ground are asked to bring along shovels, forks and brushes.”

The playing surface has been covered all week while the club also brought in special pumping equipment in a bid to ensure the game goes ahead.
