King's Lynn's player-of-the-year Joe Francis has been crowned the Southern League, Premier Division player-of-the-year after his 23-goals helped clinch Lynn's first ever Southern Premier title.

The 21-year-old wide player is scheduled to receive his award from league officials at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.

Francis has reportedly attracted interest from football league outfits including Brighton and Sheff Weds after an impressive debut season at The Walks following his switch from Ridgeons Premier Woodbridge Town.

Lynn officials have now confirmed the club will take their place in Blue Square North next season. The club launched an unsuccessful appeal in a bid to be switched to Blue Square South following the decision of the FA leagues committee last week. The final make-up of the Conference will be confirmed at the league AGM on Saturday, June 7.
