City head into the game off the back of successive Carrow Road defeats, to promotion hopefuls Derby County and Wolverhampton Wanderers respectively.

However their form on the road remains superb and they can make it a club record-equalling fifth successive away league win if they pick up three points at the Macron Stadium.

Bolton had to wait until mid October to pick up the first Championship win of their return from League One. Three draws have followed, helping lift them off the foot of the table.

Their previous draw came at Sunderland, with the 3-3 result spelling the end of Black Cats manager Simon Grayson.

The final international break of 2017 awaits following Saturday’s northern outing. When Farke’s Canaries return, they welcome Paul Heckingbottom’s Barnsley and Alex Neil’s Preston to Carrow Road on successive Saturdays – sandwiching a trip to Mark Warburton’s Nottingham Forest.

Each and every Norwich City first-team game, our reporters will be on the scene. If you see them – especially with their cameras – say hello.
