Vale Longo's recent change of management has brought them three wins from three games and pushed them into contention for the Evening News Norwich Sunday League Division 2A title.

Club secretary Kevin Brown said: "The club has moved on since Paul Brookes and Robert Spilling took the helm," and a fourth straight win against league leaders Green Man on Sunday will see the two sides level on points. Brown, who is one of four players to have played over 100 games for the club, says much of their recent good form was down to the front pairing of Pete Crowley and Gavin Powley who seem to work well together.

For their part, Green Man will be looking to bounce back from last week's 1-0 home defeat to Aslacton. Secretary Robert Groves said: "We are hoping to be at full strength for what we know will be a difficult game."

Chris Collins is amongst the league's leading scorers with 18 goals and will be hoping to add to his tally as his side aim to stay top.

Other games to look out for this weekend see Earlham Utd take on 1B leaders Aylsham Sunday; Stoke FC travel to Dereham Wanderers in 3A, whilst the big game in the Premier Division is at Wymondham where the second-placed home side face third-placed Silver Fox.
